You can change the layout of your smartphone to make it faster!
Turn on the WiFi call. If your phone has difficulty finding a cellular connection but has a strong connection with WiFi, you can use the latter option to send and receive calls as long as your provider supports it (all major US companies). If you are on Android, open Settings and then tap on Network and Internet, WiFi Options and WiFi Call. For those on iOS, open Settings and tap Phone and WiFi Call.
Minimize notifications. Because your notification system is so efficient, you can do it with and without your phone. Both Android and iOS allow you to disable notifications for certain apps or to mute notifications for certain apps (so they appear on the screen, but do not cause sound or vibration). People on Android open Settings and then tap on Apps and Notifications and select an app to adjust its notifications – some apps allow you to set notifications for certain application events (such as Facebook tags), while others do not (like Facebook Friend Requests).
Activate the system that identifies who is calling. When your phone starts ringing from the other side of the room, it can be helpful to get an idea of who is calling because it can be a factor in whether or not you want to answer the call. For this purpose, both Android and iOS allow you to combine specific ringtones with specific contacts in your address book. If you are on Android, you need to tap a contact in the Contacts app and the button (three dots, top right), then set the ringtone. If you are on iOS, tap Enter in Contacts and then select Edit and Ringtone.
Enable the feature to extend the battery life of your phone. Regardless of the product and model of your phone, it comes with some built-in tools to manage battery life very efficiently, which can be a long time between charges – it is a question of running them. For Android users, the option you need is in the settings behind the battery menu entry Ad Adaptive Make sure the battery is enabled and the battery saver is set up to work intelligently based on your customization. For iOS users, go to Settings and Battery and enable low power mode when you are low on juice (it also prompts you to turn it on automatically when you are less than 20 percent).
Store only in appropriate storage. Both Android and iOS come with built-in tools to securely back up photos and videos from your phone to the cloud. Enabling these features means you can avoid running out of space on your handset at the worst times like when trying to take a new photo. If you are on Android, Google Photos should be the default photo and video manager: From the app settings, select Device Storage for free and follow the on-screen instructions. On iOS, you can manage your photos and videos with the Photos app: from the iOS settings screen, tap Photos
Improve the security of your smartphone. You may have set up some kind of fingerprint ID or zip code when you first set up your device, but if someone can pick up or access your phone before the lock is activated then that screen lock protection will not be of much use – so you need to pay attention to what your screen timeout window is (which screen before locking the device The number of seconds your phone will wait without entering). You can set this on Android by going to Settings and selecting Display, Advanced and Screen Time. To set this on iOS, go to Settings and select Display & Brightness and tap Lock automatically.
