Quick Charge 5 battery Technology that Charges the Mobile in Minutes

Quick Charge 5 battery Technology

Introduction

A lot of work has been going on in fast charging technology for some time. Some phones come with 18W fast charging support, while some companies have recently shown phones that can charge up to 100W. In the future devices can charge up to 125 W, which means it only takes a few minutes to charge the smartphone’s battery, not a few hours.

Now US chip maker Qualcomm (Qualcomm) has introduced Quick Charge 5 technology in the market that can charge a smartphone in just 15 minutes.

This Quick Charge 5 technology is suitable for charging 100 watts or more. Quick Charge 5 is an updated version of 4.0 / 4+. With the help of this battery, the charging speed of the phone will increase significantly. Quick Charge 5 will charge the smartphone’s battery from 0 to 50 percent in just 5 minutes. The company claims that it only takes 15 minutes to fully charge the battery.

Its charging speed is four times higher than the old version. Not only that, it is 70 percent more efficient than the previous version, as well as 10 times more powerful than the first gen quick charge in delivering electricity. It has a 2S battery and a capacity of 20 volts for delivery. It will also have special features like battery saver and smart identifier for Adapter capability to increase battery life.

How does it work?

Can charge fast due to 2S battery and 20 volt power delivery. That means you will have two battery packs in the smartphone. These will double the charging speed. Qualcomm claims that the charging vault will be higher and that the temperature will be 10 degrees Celsius lower than the previous version of Click Charge 4.

Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 and Snapdragon 865 are the flagship phones that come with plus chipsets. The first device with this technology is expected to be launched by the end of 2020 i.e. any time after October.
